Cold Rock’s Gungahlin franchise has had the most successful opening week of any store within the group’s history.
On 27 November the ice cream franchise opened its first store in the ACT at the G-Gungahlin shopping centre. More than 2,500 people walked through the doors on the opening day and some 8,000 customers tried out the sweet treats throughout the opening week.
“A lot of people love Cold Rock and couldn’t wait for it to finally come to Canberra, and those who didn’t know about Cold Rock are now hooked,” said Guy Randell, who along with Jeanette Pangallo, is franchisee of the Gungahlin store.
“We’ve given out 4,000 loyalty cards already. It’s been very exciting to bring Cold Rock to the ACT and we’re delighted there has been such a positive response,” he said.
