Xi’an Famous Foods Coming Soon To Freezer Section Near You

Eater NY:

In a piece about the astounding success and growth of mini Chinese chain Xi’an Famous Foods, the Wall Street Journal reports that the father and son duo behind the chain have plans to open a commissary in East Williamsburg soon that could supply both restaurants and grocery stores. The 5,000-square-foot space, which will be up and running early next year, will have both a kitchen and production facilities and they plan to apply to food regulators for permission to sell frozen dishes at local supermarkets. They’ve come a long way from having that single stall in a Flushing Mall!
