After I left corporate life I became immersed in the world of private business and quickly recognised that my driving goal was to become a master of my destiny and run my own business. I wanted to find a way to use my business skills and experiences, but did not want to launch a business from scratch. I was introduced to franchising a couple of years ago and found that The Alternative Board franchising model ticked all of my boxes. It allowed me the freedom to work from home, choose my own hours, work with the kind of people that I wanted to work with and run a successful business by helping other business owners achieve their personal and business goals.What did you do before taking up a franchise?
