Fridges floated away and thousands of items were damaged when floodwaters from the nearby Myall Creek streamed through Dalby’s Harvey Norman store.
Computer franchisee Rod Easy and electrical franchisee Ian Brassett spent yesterday inspecting the damage caused by water which rushed into their store on Monday afternoon.
Floodwater up to 80 centimetres deep filled the store for two days.
The devastation came at a time when they had hoped to be enjoying their busiest sales period of the year. Read more.
