Franchise Urged As Route For Success

With Baha Mar projected to bring hundreds of thousands more visitors to this nation’s shores in three-four years’ time, there is “no better time” for Bahamians to consider the advantages of becoming franchisees of known brands as a path to business success, the organiser of the Bahamas’ first ‘Franchise Summit’ believes.

A franchising workshop to educate Bahamians on opportunities to franchise their businesses abroad, and a trade show hosting brands that may be interested in expanding their franchise into the Bahamas, are set to take place in Nassau next year.

The events are being organised by the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators & Developers (NABHOOD), in conjunction with the International Franchise Association (IFA), the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, the US Embassy in Nassau, Travel Professionals of Colour (TPOC), the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD), HVS Caribbean and the Bahamas Entrepreneurial Venture Fund.
