Steering A Successful Course

When I started my career with Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting, I thought it was just another job. I never expected it to become a career — but the more I learned about the system, the more interested I became. That passion for the business is what drove me to become a successful franchisee in my hometown of Regina, Sask. Now I’m enjoying the fruits of my labour, with an eye to an even more successful future.

STARTING OUT
I grew up in Regina, where my father owned his own eavestrough business; Mom helped out too handling all of the bookkeeping. I was a good student and did especially well in social studies. My earliest career aspiration was to be a nurse, though I’m not exactly sure why. I guess it just sounded like a good job. However, once I realized I was afraid of needles, I figured nursing wasn’t for me.
