A Darlington firm of specialist franchise advisors has recorded a 50% increase in enquiries as firms around the country look for new ways to expand their businesses.
The growth in demand is also being driven by businesses recognising that despite the current economic difficulties they have to move forward, and as a result of redundancies, especially in the public sector, there are some good franchisees looking to take control of their wage packets and prospects.
Twelve months ago, The Franchise Company – one of the UK’s largest and most experienced independent specialist franchise consultancy practices – was typically receiving three or four enquiries a week, which has grown to around five or six a week in the last three months and now has clients throughout the UK and as far away as Thailand.
