Patrick Conlin, Blimpie(R) area developer, announced that multi-unit franchisee, Naseem Cheema, has opened his third Blimpie franchise restaurant on Long Island, in Deer Park, in Suffolk County, NY. The high-traffic location is in a major industrial park shopping center near a booming outlet mall.
“Naseem came to the United States in 1994 from Pakistan and opened his first Blimpie restaurant in 1996 in Hauppauge, in Suffolk County, NY,” said Conlin. “Naseem opened his second Blimpie restaurant in Westbury, in Nassau County, NY in 1999.”
“I earned a law degree in Pakistan, but my brother who was here encouraged me to move to the United States and start a business,” said Cheema. “I looked at several business opportunities, but the Blimpie franchise had everything I was looking for: a proven business model, a quality product, experienced support, and loyal customers.”
