Employees of Parks Chevrolet, 603 W. Seventh, have joined the rest of the automotive family at the Parks of Augusta, 11987 SW 54 Highway, west of the city.
“It was just natural for our dealerships to be together,†says Chevrolet franchisee Saretta Culver.
“We may be leaving the city, but we’re not leaving this area,†says Saretta, who has been directing the Chevrolet portion of the family businesses.
In 1990. she and her husband, John, took over the downtown car business started by Dan and Fannie Parks. Later they took charge of the Chevrolet dealership on West Seventh Street.
“Our Augusta customers are the greatest in the world,†said John, franchisee for the Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep vehicle lines at Parks on the highway. Full post.
