Judge Orders Compromise In KFC Franchisee Dispute

A judge has ruled that KFC and its franchisees must cooperate on approving advertising strategies.

Judge Leo E. Strine Jr. issued the 65-page ruling Monday in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

The franchisees argued in the non-jury trial that they had authority to develop advertising plans as well as to modify those offered by KFC, while KFC held it had sole control over advertising strategy. More.
