ComputerXplorers – Preparing Children For The Future

The Franchise Magazine:

Since launching its first franchise in 2005, ComputerXplorers has successfully established a network of 17 franchise owners throughout the UK and Ireland. In the next 12 months, the computer-assisted learning franchise aims to secure a further 30 franchise owners.

Nigel Toplis, Managing Director of ComputerXplorers said: “Our goal is to help children discover their own technology and computer skills through exploration; in younger children building skills in maths, literacy, science, art etc. and in older students improving learning, productivity and performance through the adoption of ICT skills and knowledge. Above all, ComputerXplorers is about education with a small ‘e’ and fun with a capital ‘F’.”

A home-based franchise, ComputerXplorers offers weekly classes to children aged three to 13 years in settings ranging from nursery schools, playgroups, summer camps, primary schools and community centres. With over 11 million children and more than 35,000 schools in the UK, the market potential is huge and with a low cost base, profit margins are very healthy.
