Caribbean Keen To Attract British Franchise Brands

The Franchise Magazine:

The Caribbean is highlighting its franchise potential to international franchisors with a series of exhibitions and events taking place this year.

These events include the first ever Franchise Pavilion held in Trinidad, which will be part of the Trade Investment Convention being held on June 15-18. This four-day event is set to attract people from across the Caribbean, many of who are looking for a business opportunity to invest in.

Last month the Trinidad & Tobago UKTI held its UK Food & Beverage Trade Mission & Exhibition on the island, which featured many franchisors within this sector looking to expand across the Caribbean. For many international franchisors the Caribbean provides a huge potential market, which not only includes residents on the islands but also tourist from all over the world.

At the event there was also many individuals and companies looking for a franchise opportunity to invest in including Prestige Holdings, which already owns the Caribbean Master Franchise rights for many major brands, such as KFC and TGI Fridays.
