Compliance is carefully following laid down policies/rules/regulations/procedure manuals, or whatever you want to call them. The only problem with the word policy is not having a full understanding of what it means.
What is policy? Specifically, it is the things that are based on past experience, the experience of the founder or management team of the franchise system, which have proven to lead to success. It does not mean rules for the sake of having rules. Read on.
