The International Franchise Association and its members kick off its fifty first annual convention today in Las Vegas, Nevada.The assembly takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel from Sunday to February 16. Attendance is 1,930 participants, down eight percent compared to a very large turnout for its fiftieth anniversary last year, according to the registered attendee list from the IFA.
Unregistered walk-ins could add more to the gathering. “More than 2500 franchise industry executives, franchise small-business owners and franchise industry suppliers will gather,” declares the IFA confidently. That is down from the 2,900 that the association announced in 2008. More.
