Pizza Hut franchisee Restaurant Management Co. of Wichita Inc. has purchased the former State Farm Insurance building at 7700 E. Polo.
The company plans to use the building for its new corporate headquarters, starting in the summer, says its CFO, Terry Freund.
“We’ve been looking for a couple of years. We’re real happy with it,†Freund says.
The company bought the 17,000-square-foot building from State Farm, which says it no longer needed that much space. State Farm moved its Wichita operations office, with about 50 total employees, to the Thorn Building in northeast Wichita, where it is leasing 14,000 square feet.
