Local Business Owner Recognized

Sonny’s Real Pit Bar‐B‐Q announced Curtis Gardner as the winner of the Sonny “Floyd” Tillman Award for 2010 this week.

The Sonny Tillman Award was established by the Franchisee Cooperative Association (FCA) in honor of Sonny Tillman, the Founder of Sonny’s Bar‐B‐Q, to promote a high standard for quality and service in every Sonny’s location. The award is given to individuals who work tirelessly to keep this standard alive.

Gardner, owner/president of Gator‐Q corporation, a licensed franchisee of Sonny’s Bar‐B‐Q, is the recipient of the 2010 award. He owns the Oxford, AL and Rome Sonny’s locations.
