And with the home improvement products market projected to top $321 billion in 2011, Budget Blinds is anchoring itself as one of the fastest growing home-based businesses and offering a “window of opportunity” for an easy and low-cost business investment.

With nearly 800 territories to date and total volume sales to consumers in 2010 estimated at $235 million, Budget Blinds is looking to nearly double its North American presence. Company plans call for adding 100 new territories in 2011 and growing to a total of 1,500 territories in the next few years.

“The remodeling market has not gone away,” said Brent Hallock, co-founder and executive vice president of Budget Blinds, noting today’s ailing real estate market as a key influencer in Budget Blinds’ continued success and growth. “Not only are more consumers primping their homes for sale, but many who are unable to obtain their asking price have removed their houses from the market and are looking to remodeling, renovating and decorating as an intermediary solution, until things pick up. That’s where we come in.”
