Burger King Parts With Longtime Ad Agency Crispin Porter

MiamiHerald.com:

After more than seven years, Burger King and Miami advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky announced Friday that they have decided to end a relationship that was once credited with gaining the fast-food chain a reputation as an edgy, socially relevant brand.

The move is another sign of the dramatic changes that Burger King’s new owners are making as they try to turn around the fast-food chain’s declining sales.

Spokesmen for both Burger King and Crispin Porter declined to comment on the split. Both sides issued a statement saying: “We are incredibly proud of all that we have accomplished together, but have mutually decided that now is the right time to part ways. We are fans of each other’s work and wish each other much success in the future.”
