500 thousand Poles over 17 year old learn to dance. In a good school they pay for it PLN 200 a month. The market of dance studios in Poland is worth PLN 1 billion – says a daily newspaper “Dziennik Gazeta Prawnaâ€.
Egurrola Dance Studio, a network of dance schools of Warsaw, led by well-known from TV programs Agustino Egurrola, has grown to six branches in five years, in which over 10 thousand people learns to dance every year.
Lodz studio Lilla House sells franchising rights (it costs PLN 15 thousand) and already has five branches.
Even big foreign networks want to make money on teaching Poles how to dance salsa or samba.
