Homewatch CareGivers, one of the largest, most experienced international providers of full-service home care, today announced a partnership with the National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) designed to enhance family caregiver awareness of Homewatch CareGivers’ National Family Caregiver of the Year award. The grand prize for the award, which was created in 2008, has doubled for the 2011 winner, from $5,000 to $10,000.
“The partnership between Homewatch CareGivers and the NFCA allies two organizations that share the common mission of supporting our nation’s 65 million–plus family caregivers,” said Homewatch CareGivers President Leann Reynolds. “We recognize the difficulties those family caregivers face, and this award strives to not only honor their perseverance and strength, but also to share their inspirational stories with the world.”
