Construction will soon begin on a new McDonald’s restaurant in Perkins.
Owners and developers, along with local dignitaries, gathered Tuesday morning, May 2, to break ground for the familiar fast food restaurant, which is scheduled to open this summer.
The new restaurant will be located at the southeast corner of the intersection of State Highway 33 and North Main (U.S. Highway 177). The front of the restaurant will face north, toward SH 33.
Restaurant owners Biff and Sue Horrocks currently own two McDonald’s restaurants in Stillwater, Okla. and one in Perry, Okla. Rob Horrocks, the couple’s son, will assume ownership and operation of the Perry restaurant.
The 3,355-square foot building will feature a single-lane drive-thru.
