Dunkin’ Donuts, a subsidiary of Dunkin’ Brands Inc., has been trying to expand from its Northeast stronghold for years. Now, it appears the company is growing through the Mid-South like kudzu with its local franchisees.
The Memphis area has two local franchisees, divided by the Tennessee and Mississippi state line. Both are in expansion mode locally.
Akshar Forest Hill LLC is the franchisee in Memphis. It has locations at 1540 Union, 1674 Whitten Road and 9077 Poplar with plans for up to 17 stores. Read more.
