A self-service frozen yogurt shop called Yogo Berry has been opened in Tarrytown by Lee Wha Gyong, the former owner of a grocery in Scarsdale, and his wife Joanne Lee.
The customers prepare their desserts at this store without any involvement by the shop employees. Here is how the “semi-automated” process works.
• Patrons pick up a paper cup (there is only one size)
• They proceed directly to a bank of yogurt dispensers and decide on a flavor—they have the option to mix two flavors.
