Entrepreneurs, Damon and Shantell Owens, have signed on to open Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, America’s largest quick-serve barbecue, in Brentwood.
“Over the past 7 years, my wife and I have been praying and searching for the right opportunity to come along, not knowing that a BBQ concept out of Texas would be the one. But, we also knew that quality slow smoked food, served fast in a family atmosphere would be appealing to the masses,” said Damon Owens.
Self-starters, the Owens have been in the real estate and mortgage business for over 16 years, own Realty World of Brentwood and founded Second Chance Ministries. This will be a new adventure for the couple.
