Fayetteville’s first Mellow Mushroom is under construction on North McPherson Church Road. But anyone who doesn’t want to wait until it opens in late summer can go to Southern Pines starting Monday.
Another franchisee – a family that includes Parker and Mark Dunahay and Richard Craven – is opening the eatery at 10840 U.S. 15-501 in a renovated former warehouse, Parker Dunahay said.
The location will employ 140 people, Dunahay said.
