A Memphis-based Captain D’s franchisee has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Memphis Daily News reports.
The company, Sonfish LLC, employs 363 people and operates 21 restaurants in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
An attorney representing Sonfish told the newspaper the company planned to close four to six unprofitable locations as part of the reorganization. He did not specify which locations would close or how many employees might lose their jobs.
