McDonald’s Invests In Better Coffee Offering

A new advertising campaign and a strong push towards improving its coffee offering will help the McDonald’s McCafe chain to become “the most loved” in the country, the franchise’s chief operating officer has said.

McCafe has admitted that its customers aren’t completely satisfied with the coffee on offer, with feedback indicating that they want more consistency, a stronger blend and more skilled baristas.

Consequently, the following changes are being introduced:

• A new, richer, darker blend

• A national training program to make McDonald’s’ crew more qualified

• Standarised equipment maintenance
