Panda Express Launches Tornado Assistance Campaign

Panda Restaurant Group Inc., parent company of Panda Express, has launched a fundraising campaign to assist with disaster relief following the recent tornados throughout the U.S.

From now through June 24, close to 1,400 participating Panda Express, Hibachi-San and Panda Inn locations across the country will facilitate donation collections through in-store drop-boxes allowing guests to make contributions of any amount. Panda Restaurant Group Inc. will then match 100 percent of the proceeds collected. All donations will benefit the American Red Cross.

“We cannot begin to imagine the heartache and devastation the tornado victims are facing,” said Peggy Cherng, co-chairman of Panda Restaurant Group Inc. “Our hearts and prayers are with those suffering from this tragedy, and we are thankful for the generosity of our guests and our family of associates here at Panda Restaurant Group, who are always ready and willing to help those in need.”
