In the next few weeks, area Burger King restaurants will be in the throes of a test-market roll-out that franchisees hope will not only resonate with diners but also improve sales and rejuvenate the brand over time.
To call it a proposed menu change is not enough, considering 20 items are being added, including new salads and wraps, soft serve ice cream and sundaes, fruit smoothies, yogurt, and a touch-screen Coca Cola fountain that will offer 120 new flavor choices.
