Sports bar and eatery Buffalo Wild Wings is plotting its first midtown location near 41st Street and I-44.
An Oklahoma City franchisee is building the store next to Academy Sports and Outdoors with plans to open it in late or mid September, said Alicia Howard, who also runs the locations in West Tulsa and Broken Arrow.
“This location is very accessible and centrally located,†said Howard in an e-mail.
Buffalo Wild Wings, based in Minneapolis, is known for its chicken wings and airing of live sporting events on large projection televisions throughout its restaurants. It was founded in 1982 and now has more than 700 locations in the United States.
