J. Gumbo’s In Clifton

Cincinnati.com (blog):

The storefront on Ludlow Ave in Clifton that housed the beloved Virginia Bakery from 1927 to 2000, and was more recently a Servatii’s location, is being completely re-modeled and will open in July as a location of J. Gumbo’s. That chain that started in Louisville and serves Cajun-style gumbos and stews. The Clifton location will have close to 100 seats, and a beer and wine license.

Kim Lester, who is the franchisee of the J. Gumbo’s downtown on Walnut St., is also be the franchisee owner of this location. Her manager, Brandon Bishop, said they don’t have a definite opening date yet, but it will be in July.

J. Gumbo’s is a fast-casual concept. Customers order at a counter at the front, get their own drinks, and their order is delivered to them.
