McDonald’s is McChanging.
Hard plastic benches and metal chairs are being replaced with cushioned seats and, and chairs and tables made with wood.
Gone is the red roof and the outdoor sign featuring the double arches. It is replaced with a yellow “swoosh†on the building with brick and yellow accents.
In a world where consumers have more quick options, such as Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill, McDonald’s and its franchisees are transforming the chain’s look. So far, 11 restaurants in several counties in northern and central New Jersey, including Monmouth and Ocean, have taken on McDonald’s new image.
