The Taco Bell restaurant in the West Century Center at Drake Road and West Main Street was demolished early this week to make way for a new Taco Bell facility which is set to open Sept. 5.
The fast-food eatery that was on the southwest corner of that busy intersection for nearly 20 years, was closed on Sunday and torn down on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mariane Inc., of Houghton Lake, was the franchisee of that Taco Bell. An affiliated company, Bells and Birds Inc., will be the franchisee of the new facility.
