Mumbai based outbound tour operator, Island Holidays, has revealed its plans to expand its footprint across India by setting up offices in cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. The company aims to start its Delhi operations by mid-August 2011 and looks forward to employ at least three people in each of its franchisee offices. The franchise offices will also be responsible for bringing business for Travellers Inc, a dedicated subsidiary which caters to the MICE segment. Furthermore, the company is also about to launch an online reservation system for tours to the Maldives.
Elaborating about the development, Aman Bhatia, Partner, Island Holidays said, “We are witnessing good business from Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai and so, we aim to set up offices in these cities.
