In yoga, as in other fitness routines, there is always the next new thing.

Ellen Bradley, 32, believes that thing is Moksha yoga, a form of “hot” yoga that practices traditional Hatha yoga as well as therapeutic poses – all in a room heated to 102 degrees. The popularity of Bradley’s two new Moksha studios may be proving her point; they’re attracting 6,000 local devotees, she says.

A native Northern Kentuckian and lifelong yoga enthusiast, Bradley briefly lived in Toronto while her husband, Michael Bradley, a former University of Kentucky basketball player, was playing with the Toronto Raptors.

While in Toronto, Bradley was introduced to Moksha yoga, which was being popularized in Canada and Europe but was mostly unknown in the U.S. Carry on reading this post.
