Former builder Rob Eaton joined domestic oven cleaning specialists Ovenclean in January this year. In a matter of months, his new business has so improved Rob’s lifestyle that his brother Ray, also previously a builder, has decided to launch his own Ovenclean franchise!
“I was the guinea pig,” Rob grins. “We were both in the building trade and frankly had had enough. It’s back breaking work and pretty miserable in bad weather, so we each started to look for something else. I searched the internet for the right franchise opportunity, while Ray joined the ambulance service. I knew from the start that I wanted a van-based franchise with low overheads and the opportunity to work out and about – I absolutely couldn’t see myself cooped up inside, tied to an office.
