An area Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee has signed a lease for a new location at 101st Terrace and Wornall Road.
Verona Key LLC plans a mid-November opening for the operation in the Shops at Willow Creek. The location, which will have about 25 to 30 employees, will have indoor and outdoor seating, along with a drive-thru.
It will be the third area location for Verona Key. The company brought Dunkin’ Donuts back to the market in late 2009 with a location at 7722 W. 151st St., Overland Park. In mid-2010, it opened another Overland Park location at 7446 Metcalf Ave. It plans to open a dozen or more Dunkin’ Donuts in the Kansas City area over the next 10 years.
