Fast Food Chain Reduces Carbon Footprint

One of the world’s most recognisable brands has reduced its carbon footprint in Northern Ireland by signing up for renewable power supply with Airtricity.

McDonald’s who operate 26 restaurants across Northern Ireland employing 1,500 people will be using Airtricity’s renewable energy to prepare and serve Big Macs, Happy Meals, and other world famous products.

Commenting on the announcement Joanne Jones, McDonald’s Director of Franchising in Northern Ireland and Scotland said:
