Fresh Healthy Vending reported record growth in July and August as the market for healthy snacks and beverages continues to widen, and entrepreneurs seek to cash in on the opportunity by becoming FHV franchisees.
The vending franchisor, whose business model offers fresh juices, fruits and vegetables, yogurt, organic chips and granola bars through vending machines, also announced that it has begun its own vending operation in the San Diego area. Officials anticipate that the company will be in more than 35 locations by the end of September.
FHV said it added 15 franchisees that purchased 170 healthy vending machines during July and August. The healthy vending company’s existing franchisees reportedly added 22 machines during July and August. FHV said it secured 224 new location contracts for them during the summer months, marking another milestone for the company.
