Brainworks, a national chain of pre-schools is all set for pan India expansion via franchise route. The company plans to open 200 branches by mid 2012 in metro cities like Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and other major cities like Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Goa etc.
Presently, the chain has 60 branches out of which 16 are company-owned and 44 are franchised. To own a franchise of Brainworks, an aspirant need to invest Rs 7 to 12 lakh. The area requisite varies from place to place as in case of metros area required is 2,000-2,500 sq.ft and for other cities it is 1,200 to 1,500 sq. ft.
