She’s Turned A Coffee Shop Into A Growing Local Chain

London Free Press:

Kendra Gordon-Green can’t come to the phone right now.

She’s busy making some sandwiches for the United Way Harvest Lunch — 3,000 that have to be ready by morning.

She getting help from a dozen employees and friends, her husband Adam Green and even her two daughters, Emily, 8, and Julia, 5

But the owner of the Little Red Roaster coffee chain is there in the middle of the assembly line and that’s the way she likes it.

“That’s what keep us passionate. If it wasn’t hands on, I don’t know if I would love it so much,” said Gordon-Green, who has seen her business grow to eight locations, as well as a catering business, burger restaurant and cupcake shop.

The original Red Roaster was opened in 1995 by Anne and Archie Chisholm.
