Engine No. 1 from the Washington Fire Department drove down West Jefferson Street at dinner time Wednesday, lights flashing, and stopped in front of a home.
Neighbors across the street in an apartment complex and a next-door neighbor came out to see what was happening. But there was no fire or emergency.
Instead, the fire truck and three firefighters accompanied a pizza delivery for the Felmey family. One medium with sausage, one medium with double cheese. The order was free, courtesy of the Washington Domino’s Pizza. Read on.
