On Monday morning, the Kansas Department of Revenue and Alcoholic Beverage Control shut down and seized the assets of WJV Enterprises, doing business as Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pastas, at 6760 W. 135th St., Overland Park. The company owed $70,698 in state sales taxes. Officers seized all known bank accounts, on-site cash, business inventory and personal property assets belonging to owner William J. Van Buskirk. The restaurant was sealed closed.
Monday afternoon the franchisee paid the fees and the restaurant reopened today.
