An Atlanta restaurant chain has given the thumbs up to growth.
Lou Locricchio, CEO of Lou Van Enterprises Inc. and Thumbs Up Diner Franchising Inc., plans to begin franchising Thumbs Up Diner, which got its start in Decatur in 1984.
Thumbs Up Diner, which now has five locations in metro Atlanta, offers breakfast and lunch fare. It offers no dinner and no alcohol.
“We’ve been working on franchising for two years,†Locricchio said.
