McDonald’s Sign ‘See Me’ Pledge

Motherwell Today:

A Bellshill restaurant has become the first in Scotland to sign up to a pledge to employ people suffering from mental health problems.

McDonald’s signed the ‘see me’ pledge, which commits it to working with ‘see me’, Scotland’s national campaign to end the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health.

Suzie Vestri, ‘see me’ campaign director, said: “We’re delighted to be linking in with McDonald’s in Bellshill.

“Before any organisation can sign the pledge it needs to make a significant commitment to take direct action to tackle this issue.

“McDonald’s has done just that by agreeing to promote mental health across its managers, staff and customers.”
