From potentially thousands of franchise business owners around New Zealand, Ashburton café owner Nigel Heney has been named cream of the crop.
At the annual Westpac Franchise Awards in Auckland at the weekend, Mr Heney won the top award for the food and beverage franchisee of the year for the second time and went on to take out the coveted Westpac Supreme franchisee of the year title.
And today he’s still stunned at the win he and his wife Carmeena achieved in the face of stiff competition.
