Fried Chicken QSR Brand Bangs To Launch 50 Outlets In Tier-2 & 3 Cities

Bangs, a domestic fried chicken quick service restaurant (QSR) brand, has announced its plans of launching about 50 outlets across India within the next one year. Of these, over 15 outlets will be launched by November-end across states like Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. The Chennai-based company will primarily be targeting Tier-2 & 3 cities. Overseas expansion, especially in Gulf countries, will also be a major focus of the company.

Launched in 2009, the company currently has a strong presence in more than 10 states through 20 plus outlets. The brand is recognized for its tasty burger and fried chicken, variety of menu, low pricing and fast service options. On the matter of the company’s expansion plans, Bangs’ director Asvin Simon said, “We have already finalised the locations for the first set of outlets which will be coming up in cities like Vadodara, Patna, Davangere, Yamuna Nagar, Thane, Gurgaon and Mohali. Work is in progress and by November, the total number of Bangs outlets will be almost 40.”
