Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is now open in Lufkin. Local franchise owner, Asim Jilani opened his doors today, December 3.
“It is always exciting to open a store in Texas,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. “I know Asim will make this location a success.”
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is located at 4001 South Medford Drive, Suite 300. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. Dickey’s began franchising in 1994 and has grown at an exponential rate. By the end of 2011, Dickey’s is said to have 200 stores.
