Three years ago, footy-mad dad Rick Cartner worked in an insurance job he hated.
Now the 35-year-old runs his own football business and couldn’t be happier.
He has become a franchisee with Footytotz – an early years play programme for two to five-year-olds.
“I’d always wanted to be a footballer when I was young,†Rick says.
“And after being offered redundancy, I decided it was my time to get out of insurance and look for a job which was linked with football.â€
He took another job to fund his FA qualifications at Bolton Wanderers and started training Denton Youth Girls Team.
