Sugar Land Resident Expands Jack In The Box Empire

An Iranian immigrant whose first job in the United States was cleaning a Jack in the Box and is now the nation’s largest franchisee for the fast food chain has just opened his 51st restaurant in the Houston area.

Sugar Land resident Atour Eyvazian has opened a new store in Richmond and one in Cypress.

The Richmond store, at Grand Parkway and Mason Road, is at the end of a strip center, a break from the traditional freestanding building model. Eyvazian said the design reduces the cost of developing a new store by at least a third. Read full story.
